
Danilo C. Dantas is a full professor of marketing at HEC Montréal and a recognized expert in the fields of music marketing and arts marketing. Originally from Brazil, he holds a Ph.D. in consumer behavior from the University of Grenoble (France).
Active on the international stage, he has been a research associate at the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom) since 2025. Since 2024, he has also served as co-chair of the International Association for Arts and Culture Management (AIMAC).
At HEC Montréal, he is the academic director of the DESS in Management—Cultural Organizations, helping to train the next generation of leaders in the arts and culture sector. His involvement in the cultural sector also extends to governance: he served as vice-chair of the board of directors of Jeunesses Musicales Canada until September 2024, and held the same position at the magazine Circuit – Contemporary Music until January 2026.
He is also a member of the scientific committee of the Interuniversity Research and Creation Consortium—Music and Society (RCMS), affiliated with the Faculty of Music at the University of Montreal.
Danilo C. Dantas’s research has been published in leading academic journals, such as the *Journal of Interactive Marketing*, the *International Journal of Arts Management*, the *European Journal of Marketing*, and the *Journal of Public Policy & Marketing*, among others.
Renaud Legoux is Full Professor of Marketing at HEC Montréal. He received his PhD in Management with a concentration in Marketing from McGill University. Before embarking on his academic career, he worked as a manager in the cultural sector.
He has contributed to the publication of research on arts marketing, the marketing/finance interface, and service failures in major journals, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Arts Management, and International Journal of Research in Marketing.
